  • (Jun 7) Drake's Raid: Conducted by the Historic Florida Militia, the re-enactment provides an up-close look at what it was like for St. Augustine residents to defend their city against overwhelming odds. The re-enactment will feature a 16th century encampment at the Fountain of Youth on Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. The encampment, which will be open to the public, will feature military drills and period skill demonstrations. Saturday evening at 8 p.m. the battle will begin with swords, pikes and black powder muskets in the historic Plaza de la Constitucion in downtown St. Augustine.   • Flagler College Tours: Tours offered daily of the former Ponce de Leon Hotel, now Flagler College. Tour tickets can be purchased from 10am to 6pm at Flagler's Legacy 59 St George St. or 15 minutes prior to each each tour. Tours meet in the rotunda of the college.
